I believe it was Mark Twain who said, "The only person who really wants change is a baby with a dirty diaper." Physical discomfort motivates the baby's desire for change.
Like the baby in Twain's illustration, the people of the Macedonia Church of the Nazarene are people whose spiritual discomfort(shame, guilt, fear, hopelessness) has led us to seek change. We have found real change is possible through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
The Macedonia Church of the Nazarene is many things.... friendly people, joyful music, relevant teaching, and ministry that reaches across the street and around the world, but first we are a "changing station."
